Middle School boys AND girls (ages 10-14; must be 14 after Sept. 1st) practice Mondays from 2-4pm at Glen Raven Baptist Church. Jr. Varsity and Varsity Boys (ages 14-18; must turn 14 before Sept. 1st) practice Mondays from 6-8pm at Ebenezer United Church of Christ. The JV and Varsity practices have a charge of $3 per player or $5 per family to attend.

The W-S Fencing Club is a free, recreational event for anyone interested in improving their ability with the sword. The Fencing club is not limited to foil, saber and epee, but encompasses the entire gambit of swordsmanship & swordwomanship. The event is coodinated by Coach Michael Joyce. Coach Jyce is an amazing teacher and is one of only a few people teaching classical foil fencing in the Winston-Salem & Triad Area. He currently teaches a group of young fences in Mocksville, NC and has several dedicated students who take lessons privately. The Carolina Crusaders is a full-contact, 11-man, high school football team that competes in the Pioneer Football League. The PFL is a Christian based football league with an emphasis on helping young men and women develop biblical character traits through the game. The Carolina Crusaders provide Homeschool, Public School and Private School students in the Mecklenburg, Gaston, and York Counties the opportunity to play middle and high school football in a Christian atmosphere. The Junior Varsity team is for players 12 -15 years old. The Varsity team is for players 15-18 years old. We play full contact 11- man football against similar teams of our skill level and size. No previous football experience is required to play for the Carolina Crusaders.

Hello. I am the owner of FYI Fitness ( fitness for young individuals) located in Apex. We offer specialized small group fitness classes for kids ages 10-16. We have run quite a few fitness workshops for intramural sports teams. We do not require any kind of membership. We offer packages so parents only have to pay for classes when it fits into their child’s schedule. We work with kids during their sports season as well as on their off season so they can continue to maintain their physical fitness. We also over package deals for teams who would like to work out together. Those packages are not listed on our website but can be customized depending on the amount of participants. Performance-360 offers cross country and track to homeschool students in south Charlotte, NC. Coach Conrad Sherland has 25+ years experience in running and athletic training and coaches all levels, from beginners through advanced athletes. The Performance-360 cross country team competes in the fall and track competes in winter, spring, and summer. Meets against local schools and clubs are located in Mecklenburg and Union County with opportunity to compete nationally at the Jr Olympics and AAU National Championships.
