Homeschool Open House

Homeschool families in North Carolina are invited to attend a FREE Homeschool Open House at the Virginia Museum of Natural History on Wednesday, August 16, 2017.

Drop in anytime from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. for a fun, free field trip to browse the exhibits & see all that they have to offer.

The museum is located at 21 Starling Avenue, in Martinsville, VA 24112.

Science Classes

Learn about the Homeschool Science & Engineering Academy, see what the hands-on programs look like and get all the details of cost, schedule  and more. Meet the educators and sped some time viewing the museum’s exhibits.

Tour Groups

The museum offers educational group tours ($5 per student, free chaperone) and a discount to homeschoolers for yearly museum membership which entitles you to many benefits.
