  Transylvania Homeschool Co-op is located in Brevard, NC, and is open to all families in the surrounding area. Co-op classes take place in the spring and fall, meeting on Friday afternoon for 8 weeks per session.

  The Asheville Homeschool Co-op was founded in 2004.  It involves 20 to 30 homeschooling families working together to create a day of community fun and learning for our kids and ourselves. • Davidson - Creative Learning Center - Collaborative Learning-

  Not traditional tutoring, or a class or co-op, but I am putting it in that category. North Carolina homeschoolers should check out the website for more details if this type of education sounds interesting. You can set up a tour. Attendees pursue independent studies specifically created for them, explore creative pursuits (music, art, building). Students will learn from outside sources as well and will have opportunities to impact their communities and world through volunteer opportunities. Students can nurture their connection to the outdoors and animals and strengthen their emotional and social skills from direct mentoring. Cindy Gaddis works with parents to collaborate on an individualized learning plan for students. Parents receive a daily journal entry about each child's experiences at the Creative Learning Center. Student can attend full or part time.
