    Hello! We work with families across the country who are homeschooling neurodiverse students. We offer a small online live teacher class in reading, writing, or math to students grades 1-8. We work only with highly qualified teachers with years of experience working with neurodiverse students. Covid caused us to take our practices online and we have been growing our online community ever since. We would love to work with homeschooling families in NC!

    I am the Children’s Coordinator for The Comic Dimension. The store has been around for 5 years, but we are just beginning a new after-school and summer camp style program. Our program is designed to teach kids problem solving skills, help them flex their creativity, as well as also keep them entertained through the medium of board games! We think it would be a great fit for many homeschool students and would love to get better connected to the Homeschooling community.

    I am a Kennedy Center Teaching Artist, the 2017 NC Piedmont Laureate and director of the Summer Arts Integration Institute of the United Arts Council of Raleigh and North Carolina.

    I’m currently offering a series of “At Home” workshops: online hands-on workshops that are integrated across the curriculum, including claymation, bookmaking, creative writing, living history, baking and “Reading, Making & Writing Art.” I’d love your help in sharing what I do with homeschools.

    New Heights Learning is a Charlotte Mason inspired cooperative that is formed around hybrid learning. It is a full academic program that can be on campus 2, 3 or 4 days a week and at home the rest of the time. The class is for 3rd to 6th graders and students learn together in a Socratic environment. https://newheightslearningacademy.org/

  11. We offer acting classes for kids and teens ages 10 – 17. (We also have adult classes) Our classes are typically from 4:30 – 6:30pm twice a week as an after school option. On-Camera Acting for the actor with little to no film/TV experience. This class will focus on the basics of on-camera acting and provide the tools necessary to bring characters to life on screen. Classes will consist of the basics of cinematic storytelling, the audition process, and the techniques of on-camera acting. Students will learn by working on-camera with a chosen scene from a film or TV series. With weekly performance and shooting on-camera scenes with other actors. Copy of each session is included, with final performance edited for a reel.
