Dance education by design offers classes specifically for home school families that follow the NC Essential Standards for Arts Education, allowing the students an arts experience of similar scope to conventional schools, taught by qualified, experienced arts educators. in addition to dance technique, students will learn and experience: creation & performance, critical evaluation, and cultural, historical, and interdisciplinary connections. dance education by design’s educators hold a NC Teaching License and have experience in both the public and private sector of education.

I offer educational outreach programs with exotic animals that are uniquely created to reinforce the topics and curriculum you are teaching. I am licensed with the USDA and have liability insurance and I am a previous teacher and certified wildlife educator. My website is http://www.ZoofariNC.com and I would love to talk to you about bringing the zoo to you and your homeschool coops.

Thanks, Michelle. We are not a group or a co-op, just a networking group- we would love to connect you with some groups. Email me and I can help you find a group that your presentation can work with. Have you considered contacting the extension offices in each county? This would be a terrific 4-H activity too!

    Dear Merit:
I could not find an email address to ask this question, so please excuse my using this forum. I reproduce Civil War patriotic stationery which some of your homeschoolers my find helpful as a teaching tool when they explore that era of history. There is information about a Teaching Resource Packet (teacher’s guide, study questions & writing project) which I have produced on the website. Thank you for your consideration in passing this information along, Glenn Rowe
