Learn English Country Dance at The Brighton Ball


Homeschool English Country Dance

 

The Classical Conversations Homeschool group in Thomasville, North Carolina is hosting The Brighton Ball, an English Country Dance.

 

 Homeschooled students in grades seven to twelve are invited to attend on Friday, September 9, 2016 from 6 -10 p.m. at the Community Bible Church in High Point, NC.

 

Students will be able to learn English Country Style dance and practice etiquette in a formal setting. This dance will be styled after the English Country Dance which were popular in society particularly during the Regency Era.

Get Your Quadrille On

A practice dance will be held Thursday, September 8 from 6 – 8:30 p.m. at Community Bible Church in High Point. Students will be  able to learn the dances and get to know the other participants.

Casual attire is acceptable for the practice dance.

 

The Brighton Ball

The Brighton Ball will be Friday September 9, 2016  from 6 – 10 p.mat Community Bible Church, 4125 Johnson Street, High Point.

 

Please plan to arrive by no later than 6 p.m. for the dance.

 

Cost is $5 per person with a $20 family cap.
