Enjoy a glorious fourth of July!

Friday July 4, 2014 from 9 a.m.-7 p.m. Enjoy activities including free garden admission, music and a live reading of the Declaration of Independence at 11 a.m.

Hear the patriotic spirit of our forefathers come to life this Fourth of July with music by Tryon Palace’s Fife and Drum Corps, and a live reading of the Declaration of Independence.

There’s no better way to connect with the true meaning of Independence Day than spending the day in the 18th century. You’ll enjoy crafts, games, fresh lemonade, costumed characters and FREE garden admission throughout the day.

And don’t forget to bring your picnic lunch!

Reading of the Declaration of Independence on the Palace steps and Fife & Drum performance: 11 a.m.
Craft activities: 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.
FREE Garden Admission: 9 a.m. – 7 p.m.
